Giving Monday, February 20th to benefit FHS Safe Passage Team 2012 raised $204!!!

After a very successful January benefiting STRIVE, we turned our attention to the Falmouth High school Safe Passage Team service trip to Safe Passage, in Guatemala, with ten FHS students, two FHS teachers, and the Superintendent. The team traveled Feb 5-Feb 12, 2012 and our Giving Monday raised $204 for them to donate to Safe Passage!!

Downeast Cider now on tap

February 22nd

Downeast Cider House currently produces only one type of cider, Original Blend. The Original Blend is made from freshly pressed Maine apples (thank you Ricker Hill Orchards, www.rickerhill.com) because we believe in making the best product we possibly can, while also supporting local agriculture. We use Red Delicious, McIntosh, Cortland, and Gala apples in our cider. But, our favorite apple to eat is a ripe Macoun on a crisp fall afternoon.
