Host An Event

The Foreside Tavern, Side Bar, Outdoor Patio and Fireside Room all offer a variety of unique options for planning an event or special celebration. We are able to host birthday and holiday parties, bridal or baby showers, rehearsal dinners, retirement parties, or even a “Just for the hell of it” event. No matter what the celebration, we are able to use one of our four seated areas to provide the perfect atmosphere to meet your vision. Our Fireside Room is great for private functions filled with comfortable leather furniture, a cozy fireplace, and a 60-inch HD TV that can be great for watching big games or commemorative slideshows or video. The area can comfortably accommodate parties up to thirty-five people for a sit down dinner and forty for a cocktail event. Call us at 207-781-4255 to discuss your next event.

We can customize our menu to meet the individual needs for any event. You may order off the menu, tailor your menu down, or pre-order for your gathering. Rates

Each party will be priced out individually, based on the needs of your function. For parties that will last more than 1.5 hours, we require a minimum of $600 to be spent inside the room which can be accomplished any way the host chooses, (i.e. a host check, individual bar tabs etc.) so that we may properly staff the event and have prior knowledge of the estimated volume of food and beverage that will be required to satisfy your event. During the holiday season, (December & January) or if renting the patio, the minimum requirement is raised to $800. If your actual bill does not reach the minimum, the remaining sum will be added onto your check. After planning your party, a contract will be written by the Foreside Tavern to be reviewed and signed by you so that all parties involved have a clear understanding of what is expected. A gratuity of 18% will be added to your final bill.

Giving Monday to benefit Steven Larkin's People to People Trip - April 23rd

Steven is a 7th grader from Scarborough who is an accomplished Boy Scout and young philanthropist. He was nominated and then selected to go on a People to People trip to Southern Europe. As a student ambassador he will travel and stay with host families while having the enviable experience of seeing part of the world and gaining a greater perspective of his world. He is raising all the money for his trip through the group's Pay your Way program.
